Breakup arc is scared of them coz somehow they were even more freaky. Yanu I can understand coz he's a dragon, his humanity and morals are already questionable. But Eyra?! He got all flustered with that dragon eye that Yanu was being a sly mf about to give his eye every 10 years XD
Also I recommend reading the novel, adaptations tend to cut the small details and the novel actually gave us more thoughts about Eyra & Yanu's feelings and bickering
