For me, my first one that I was hooked onto was Saezuru Tori wa Habtakanai. I just want to share my story bcoz it was like I was meant to read it <3 I used to read smut straight Adult mangas so whenever I searched adult category, I would always see Saezuru in recommendation. I always ignored it, like wth is that bcoz of the front cover. Also I always listen J music so one day YouTube suggests me a song, that was so good, the lyrics makes me cry. Then I found out the song is from Saezuru movie adaption trailer. I couldn’t wait for movie to come out and decided to read manga. When searched for manga, I was like WHAT!!?? This is the one always showed up in my Adult recommendation list and always ignored it. Talk about fate :3 Hehe so I started reading it and love it so much.
I started liking yaoi because my friends were talking about it and I had no idea what it was so I got curious and searched up what yaoi was and it showed me a yaoi manhwa (K’s secret) so I clicked on the manhwa and went to a random chapter, and that chapter had a sex scene lol. I had dropped my phone when I saw it but then I got used to it, that was my first yaoi I read (о´∀`о)
Well MY 1st manga was very cliche I guess----Sekaiichi hatsukoi. I didn't even know that mangas existed (basically living under a rock)~ my 1st encounter with yaoi was on youtube and the anime was Kizuna, and LIKE everyone I was hooked. Then i searched for more yaoi anime and found out junjou romantica, hybrid child, LOVE stage, winter cicadas, finder....y'know the OGs. Then I googled about them and found out about how they were based on mangas and they were better than the anime cause 18+ .. am I right??!!18+ ones were like holy grail for me and now 7years later& its still going strong.. MY love for mangas hasn't changed and I'm even more excited for the newer ones.
ahh- I think I found Yaoi through TikTok- and so I decided to try and read "BJ Alex" for my first one and it wasn't bad at all, then here I am~~ (●'◡'●)ﾉ
my first bl was actually not a manga, an anime rather (loveless). i remembered when I was like 11, my cousin let me borrow her cd and told me to try to watch it but alone. She notified me that it would be bl but i didn't really mind. so, i watched it and kept wanting for more and now we are here T^T. After that, I started shipping anime characters that i like.
When break time at school year 2016 a classmates of mine who's a cosplayer reading some Manga on her phone and she looks suspicious coz she's covering her phone in a weird me so I ask her what is she doing and she didn't speak she was blushing and ask me if I like to read Manga I said yes coz she knew I love books and Mangas that time I'm knew to this so she as me if I knew yaoi/Yuri and I said what is that coz I really don't know so she grin at me so I was likeeeee (￣∇￣") then she saw a Yuri on ice Dj.... Then it's all start with that and I'm here now hahaha
