I'm almost certain the author won't be able to resolve this situation well. Hyesung will probably forgive his mother because of this whole story and, if anything, will even apologize to Byul, even though he's the only one in the right in this whole situation.
i see him going back to that bed-rotting scenario he did in the og story. then dojin and byul will blame themselves. i also see a confrontation w his mom. he might lash out on her and it becomes a huge thing. my only fear is hyesung losing his "inner peace" self and revert to his old attitude in the story

I think he doesn't trust people because other people can't trust him, like now he thinks Tae-soo is doing EXACTLY the same thing he did to uke from the first couple and tried to do to Tae-soo, he tries to fuck the people and then gets hurt when it comes back to him.
