It's a problem because there's a chance that the news of Gyokuyou's pregnancy has leaked, and they've been hiding that because of the risks of that news being discovered. To explain more: the clothes the salesman brought were clothes that tightened around the chest, not the stomach (which would be bad for her as her pregnancy progresses.)
That's why MaoMao suggests they ask if they have any other clothing types, especially that even if it's a coincidence, they might realize that Gyokuyou is pregnant anyway because she normally wears clothing that tightens around the stomach.

But, I'll always hate the way they make the antagonist got these kind of background to made reader understand why she did that, because the afterwards they made it like "And, that's why MC have to understand and be the bigger person."
Meanwhile, the teacher judged Chidori students maliciously, manipulate her student to hate and judged them too. And now, try to torment MC mentally to do what she believe what's right. And, we reader supposed to justified that?
She's not fit to be a teacher. She shouldn't be a teacher in the first place. She should deal with her trauma before all of this.
