Dojin is in the wrong for hiding his actions, especially because Hyesung cut off his mom for legit reasons. However, that does not mean Byul is not wrong. Byul knew his mom cut off contact for a reason, he could've asked for more details at least from his dad (who knows the exact reasons btw). Byul also is not wrong in feeling hurt by the idea that his mother abandoned him after birth, because it's true. However, I think he's grown enough to understand that while he (Byul) was abandoned, he was left with his dad who loved and cared for him until his mother returned (and who never left or mistreated Byul after). Hyesung was abandoned in an abusive household, and his mother refused to look for her son. The mother left and never turned back until when it was convenient for her, that's the difference.
I will officially hate this series if Fargo decides to have Hyesung forgive his mother. Hyesung can apologize to Byul, and Byul and Dojin SHOULD apologize to Hyesung, but Hyesung SHOULD NEVER APOLOGIZE TO HIS MOTHER. She should still have to face the consequences of abandoning her child, and she shouldn't suddenly have open access to her child's life. Even her new family left her because they realized how fucked up she was in leaving her son to an abusive husband (remember that she hadn't divorced her husband when she left yet, she came back later to divorce him and could've tried to contact her child then but refused to do so).
