A lot more sex in this one than in the first two books but I'm glad we finally have it clearly stated by them that everything they do is consensual even if they might be a bit insane together.
It's interesting to think about how different Kakeru might have been if it wasn't Satoshi he was with. He did say, and we were shown a bit, that he loves to spoil his partner but because of how fcking weird Satoshi is, he felt like he had to put some distance emotionally (though his actions speak louder than his words). If we ever get a next one, I hope it shows how Kakeru spoils Satoshi when he no longer feels the need to hold back his affections. Though I guess I love their dynamic as it is now too

Satoshi and Kakeru are some of the most compelling characters I've read yet and I've read over a thousand BLs.
For such individually toxic people, their relationship is actually really healthy. What a feat from the author. I especially love that chapter where Kakeru took care of Satoshi when he was in a depressed state. That was so intimate and tender. They both understand each other well and accept each other fully including all of the other's red flags. That's what makes them so healthy; that they are so accepting of each other when others wouldn't have been. TLDR they match each other's freaks so well and I love them.

didn't like the main story at all. felt like the romance w yoshino was just in the back burner for no valid reason except for plot convenience. extras were cute though. which is fucked bc why are the extras the only good points lol bumped my rating up to 2* bc I still love the characters even if the story and their characters here was ass this time :/
hopefully we get a sequel where the author can redeem themselves and actually give us a good story for yoshino and rou. I have a feeling they'll focus on the pink hair and the bartender if ever though which would suck since I don't care for those two. I don't know what the author expected of our reaction to this new couple. it's not like they were made to be likeable at all. they were just... there.

That last line where Hikaru wishes to be human not because of anything else but just to have the ability to hallucinate hearing Tora's voice, him just wanting any crumb of Tora for himself again and with him building that rough room to get back what little of what they used to have.. just kill me it would hurt less ╥﹏╥
stopped after chapter 1. that just read to me like rape made to be comedic. he didn't know what was going on and they had him held down. I would have been terrified. but I guess we're not acknowledging that shit since it's supposed to be a comedy genre bl?? aight
