Honestly they been married 4 years before communication started which is absolutely stupid. Her anger should have cooled ages ago and she should have been able to see the signs that he cared for her the entire time. The ML should have something too earlier on so they are both dumb in my opinion. However the FL does irritate me more, bcs I believe she was actively abusing him the entire 4 years they were married. Also before people talk about how she married someone she didn't know or like, I get that but even in historical time marriage didn't always go the way you want. What you have to do is get to know the person, not abuse them.

This is trash, it had potential, but MC uses his body as a bargaining chip which is just disturbing and sad to me. It particularly feels like cheating as he is the emperor's lover who actually loves him and hasn't slept with the other concubine. While MC allows others to kiss him and suck him off, that's just not to my taste. I don't particularly like the ML either as he is really weak willed. He's willing to fall into the traps of the other concubine so "MC can live" plain stupid. The art style is the least of my concerns both characters are just annoying.
