Y’all are calling this a “problematic” and “stupid” manga because the ml is gifted and doesn’t have to work that hard.... that’s life. It happens lol. They’re also saying it’s an unrealistic manga because the mom is lowkey neglectful, that happens so much in real life, her whole anxiety around being the best is so relatable for so many kids with “perfect” older siblings. It wasn’t the best manga in the world, it was predictable, just like any other shoujo manga but y’all hating on it for the wrong reasons. It’s not that bad.
I know right, its not as problematic as other mangas out there. For a shoujo manga, this is not that bad at all (no drama, no annoying ex-gf, no love triangle, and no miscommunication). I agree with you that some of the scenes portrayed in the manga really happens in real life.
For others who did not like it, i think this is just not their cup of tea.
About the mother, it's actually pretty realistic imo. She's not a hateful mother, just your typical housewife, but unconsciously she kinda made the daughter 'think' that she expected her to be like the brother. And usually parents dont really ask about school if the kids didn't talk about it. So it's not toxic or problematic at all imo it's just they need deep talk.
For me this is pretty normal and not too much or unrealistic, I was crying reading this esp when the paper she photocopied shattered and she just sit there ugh it's pretty good for me. And they are cute together.

this guy needs to chill omg. why do u have a flower, and then you trample all over and stab everything. just terrible, the poor guy deserves better. and i’m remembering that people have the plague and he just doesn’t care lol.
