I'm on chapter 23 and I really wanna drop it, I saw reccs for this and they said this is so good but I can't hate it someone please tell me if it's worth the pain and if it'll get better

I'm nearing the end and I still don't think it's zhat worth it. Sure it gets better later on and it hooks you but i dont get how it's someone's comfort read. Yuri is such a manipulator and an obnoxious person, while seonwoo just feels guilty and always worries around him they don't really work together in my opinion. The story isn't that bad but it's not that good either. So that's my opnion, other's obviously think differently as they like it that much to be their comfort read. It's all about personal taste( ̄∇ ̄")

Just as you said its personal taste, but let me tell you about your maybe little wrong interpretation and mischaracterizing. The thing is, Yuri and Seonwu aren’t supposed to be a normal couple like other bls you might have read, and that makes them, them. They go through a path with a lot of difficulties, insecurities and open wounds in through that path, they hurt each other in so many ways but all these in order to end up being each other’s best medicine to heal that issues and wounds. Its truly right if you interpret it superficially and don’t want yourself to dig deeper into it since it’s supposed to be fun, rather as for me, i see it in a way that love shouldnt always be in its most healthy form to work, but it can be also as complex and difficult with many ups and downs just like Yuri & Seonwoo’s. And its still beautiful cause they are the only people who can match each other like long lost puzzle pieces. As for someone like Yuri which his mental illness and complex character who sees love into manipulating someone since he was never learnt how to truly express his love to someone, I don’t expect him to change 360 degrees, however as a merely reader, you can still feel how much he has been changed. And i think that Seonwoo is the only one who can tolerate and at the same time control someone like Yuri. Anyways ill stop with yapping its still fine for me if you liked it or not since people are open to different interpretations and opinions and it gets even more individual when it comes to stories like Form of Sympathy with its complex issues and problems. I get you! I was looking at it from a superficial point without thinking deeply about it. Story is not my cup of tea really, but I get it. Yuri is a deeper character but I really didn't like the way most of their intercourses before they got together cz they were were basically rape...so that's why i think so poorly of him. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about it though, as I read it to the end I will think about it more.(◍•ᴗ•◍)

I didn't expect this tbh, I thought Woowons character is softer and no matter how he feels he would never do this to ml(forgor his name). He needs him a lot during this time and I thought he would seek him in a different manner, softer and with love rather than raping him. Maybe I viewed him differently but I'm disappointed honestly this was very unnecessary... Ml won't even second guess this ig by how he told him to do wtv but that also feels forced. Why couldn't we have a little angsty sad and cute moment? Was it that hard? ╥﹏╥
Honestly, this story was so boring. Side stories are even more boring. There just wasn't anything intresting, no real plot. It was too fast, way too fast to even realize what was happening, and leaves you with so many unanswered questions.
