At the very least, I'm glad that the reason he treated Aiden so badly isn't just because he's the child of someone he didn't love. Like at least that's the only reason he was so bad to Aiden.
Of course it doesn't justify his actions nor does it mean he should be forgiven, but a reason like being betrayed before and thus he is suspicious of Aiden is better than the reason that Aiden and Sina are half siblings.
