This is a fictional story. If there was extra context like condoms being used or a full blood test needed for the story the author would’ve included it. From the way the chapter is written and being able to see mc walking by from the window that the ml is making out with some other dude says enough. i don’t think the author would write it that way if they wanted you to think the ml was an outstanding citizen. Obviously non monogamous relationships aren’t bad, nobody is saying they are bad but I feel like you are blowing peoples comments up and adding context that is not there just to defend the ml
