the switch from his depressed and lost mindset to the immediate lovely dovey fluff is so drastic and sudden i feel like his affection for this dude comes completely from the story’s influence on its characters, like whenever hes with him the original relationship/ main connection between the two has an affect on them both, seeing as they keep questing why they are so drawn to eachother. maybe this was super obvious but im stupid so let me
