This "set up" is called reverse harem, which is still harem.

It's not harem...MC only ends up with one guy, the 2nd ML just helps develop the relationship between the MC and the ML. This trope is in a LOT of manhwas. A harem is when the MC ends up with multiple love interests.

My dude I read harems and reverse harems like they’re going out of fashion. I’m very aware of what a harem is and is not. This is NOT a harem. It has one and only one end love interest. Just because someone else has a crush, doesn’t mean it’s a harem. And she doesn’t even entertain the other love interest so it’s not a love triangle. It’s a straight forwards romance with a very cliche set up. You have to have been living under a rock if you haven’t seen this set up before. If you’re still confused, google what a harem is and what a love triangle is and what a love interest is because I cannot be more clear. A love triangle is where a person romantically or sexually interacts with both love interests but ultimately chooses one of them. A harem is where someone collects lovers like Pokémon. A why choose is a love triangle where they choose both love interests because they like them both. This is the classic case of friendzoned bestie and a lover. This is not harem at all.
