When I had stopped reading it, it was because some previous translations were so bad that it was took a significant amount of effort to understand what was going on. So the earlier ratings and discussion probably stem from there.
From reading a couple more recent comments, it might be because of poorly resolved, ungratifying drama or deus ex machina lines from future chapters...? idk
