But why is he acting this way towards Sejin now? Up until now he made everything to make things right with Sejin. What changed? Why did he change now?
Basically,
his brother raped the MC in the past life, so ML got so mad him and the brother, he also raped the MC after he got raped by ML’s brother. ML started treating him a whore/toy but deep down he realized that he loves the MC. If you read the other omegaverse called Cozy Obsession, it has the same concept, minus revenge type but ML does trap MC in a room so no one can see him and basically becoming obsessed. MC finds out he’s pregnant but doesn’t know who’s the father. MC started becoming depressed and wants to kill himself because everyone abandoned him. He went to ML’s room and shit himself in front of the ML.
ML kills himself, boom now we are in present life they’re in. ML regrets everything that’s happened so now he’s trying to make MC be independent and show him love as well but ML is scared to lose him. Also, I think ML realized what happened to MC during the past life. Basically, he has a lot of guilt and shame towards himself and that’s why he’s trying to be a green flag towards the MC.
I totally get everything that happened and why JK has this behavior, BUT I'd reaaaaally love if author could solve this with therapy and show that a person can break a cycle of violence and move on from there but they need professional help for this, not just love someone and everything changes.
Authors has a great opportunity into their hands, I hope they use it well.
