( ̄へ ̄) I mean Theo isn't exactly in the wrong here, he's just trying to protect a bunch of orphaned kids, they have no one but him. It would be one thing if he was leaving just to protect himself. But he did give Lilian a choice to protect the secret by burning the portrait...
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Well at the end I don't truly understand the obsession Lili has over Swan to the point she would rather lose her only ally and true friend, Theo. Is this better explained in the novel? As in why she clings so much to the memory of swan?

He's soooo infuriating! He treated Laura so f-ing bad her whole life, even when she was just a CHILD. Now he expects her to just nicely get sold off? Wtf
Honestly if he had treated Laura nicely from the beginning she probably would have feel indebted to him and agree to the arrangement :/ that's how nice she is but heck no, sir you are a whiny b*tch
Also the old dude just needs to give up, how many times must a woman say NO before he freaking realizes that she is NOT marrying you ((ヾ(≧皿≦メ)ノ))
ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ I love her!
While WindBreaker is very much a male character centered manga, it
It actually knows how to write Female characters. Akari is a good example. She was always strong even while young and that never changed! Living in such a misogynistic household, she knew being smarter (and earning her own money) was the way to free herself.
I very much love how WindBreaker shows that feminity doesn't mean you are weak.

With Yoshiki's hair symbolizing coming out and/or being more comfortable with his sexuality, Hikaru being chopped off and sent off with that shady company must symbolize being sent off to conversion therapy :( to literally lose parts of himself and being broken. (/TДT)/
