The time skips are crazy. But then again I guess they’re meant to mimic the insane difference in the perception of time between mortals (us) and immortals. Seems like they haven’t slept with each other in decades, after Aidan saw the “child” in Jonak and felt guilty for sleeping with him with their power imbalance. Then after seeing Anne and discovering her grandniece, Jonak’s hair fully grew long again and it’s implied in the picture and the prosthetic leg that their dog has passed. It’s like we blink and years/decades already passed, but to them it feels like another day.
