As a boss, I think he's rather useless.
Being a boss entails (in my opinion) that you don't need to know the tiny details, but you need to know about the things happening. If you delegate work (which is "how to boss 1.1") then you also need to be aware of capacity, resources and distribution. If you're the BOSSboss, then you need to have someone assisting you who can go distribute your orders into actual feasible actions.
He's micromanaging her due to trust issues AND also overworking her because amidst all that micro-managing he still has no idea what she's actually doing.
If he dares to hide behind "You should have told me if its too much" or "you should have managed yourself better" I swear I'm gonna climb into this story and kick his ass.
HE was testing her day after day. HE was spitting provocations and putting pressure on her with deadlines. HE let it get this bad under his watch. HE was no trustworthy boss.
And yes, sometimes you get to a point where you need to fix everything as soon as possible, so you can only crunch it with the power of coffee, stubbornness and sheer willpower.
They second prince is slowly getting the hang of things, I guess. How to deal with the mayhem, I mean.
And for once I can't quite tell what I should wish for Evelyn (the OG, I guess): that she crosses the border to possibly meet some MORE NORMAL people, or that she just finds some peace right where she is
My man is his own worst enemy.
And I don't believe - not for one second! - that this guy can keep his sanity in any capacity. Whatever he accomplished BEFORE seems to have vanished like snow in the sun. Now he's just a lunatic with a grudge and cherished panties with a dreadful amount of authority.
