I feel like the only way it could end well is if they transfer the revenge onto the grand prince who ordered him to kill yeonjos's family to begin with. That would be a more meaningful target than heeryang who just carried out the order, it would allow them to be on the same side, and heeryang could atone somewhat for what he did.

What about the rape? The abuse?

Obviously unacceptable in the real world or in most romantic stories, but in the context of this genre (where rape has become very normalized for reasons unknown to me) I think that would be the only way to make the story work if the writer wants them to end up together. If the writer doesn't want them to end up together, that's fine by me. I just want revenge for yeonjo and it seems like he's given up on trying to kill heeryang, so they'll have to kill the prince for me to be satisfied by the end. Also that would mean a lot more chapters with these characters working towards that goal and I want this story to keep going for as long as possible.

I'd also add that the problem in their relationship isn't only the rape and abuse. The male lead literally MUREDERED HIS ENTIRE FAMILIY and did it in front of his eyes! They literally should NOT be together at all. They are the definition of toxic trauma bonding. But that's what makes the story interesting, is watching them somehow fall in love despite that. It's not realistic, but it is entertaining.

The story is so cute and I think the author did a great job of representing a different culture authentically and respectfully. The only issue is some of these comments are so ignorant and arrogant. ( ̄へ ̄)

I really think this should have a sequel with hyunwoo and the hyung in LA. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

did anyone else go ewwww when suha kissed redhead?
also how many chapters until they quit this company and get away from these shitty family members?( ̄へ ̄)

I fucking SCREAMED. Like seriously, after him saying all that. WHY. And I don't wanna hear any crap about !"He did it to save him." Man clearly said all he needed was Suha and he turned his back on him, kissing that fuckfaced C****TTTTT. Tears don't fix nothing.

But I think he's the best MC! I think those mc's who are selfless and loving to their own detriment are cliche and annoying. Suu is so complex. He loves Sahara, Nadan, and Suryeon but he loves himself the most, and I think that is a very good thing! Yes, Sahara loves him but Sahara is also using him and turning him into a monster. That's terrifying and not okay? Nadan is too complacent with their shitty allotment in life and also hasn't loved Suu back in a long time. No reason to settle for a guy like that. Suryeon loves him but still put his life in danger, broke his ankle, and manipulated him for his political goals. Just because Suu beats himself up for not being loyal to these shitty love interests doesn't mean we should. Suu is making the right choice by wanting to leave and take care of himself. Suu isn't co-dependent. Suu realizes that these relationships are all somewhat manipulative and abusive. Suu deserves to be loved by someone who sees him as his equal and has the same goals and values as him. (He really just wants freedom)! Suu makes mistakes and doesn't have it all figured out but I respect him for trying. Maybe because I'm black, maybe because I'm a feminist, maybe because I'm American but honestly, I am nobody's slave, I don't need no man, and give me liberty or give me death. I would not put up with any of this BS and I'm glad Suu wont either.

That being said, I do still ship him with Suryeon, I love Sahara, and I too hope Nadan isn't dead yet. They are all also great characters. Ideally they'll work it out somehow. I just want people to stop shitting on Suu for being "selfish" when he is making good life choices.

    Fujoshi_* December 5, 2020 4:51 am

That was a great explanation, suu is way to smart and matured way faster than how kids are supposed to be and all his trauma he gained...that’s what makes him interesting for me..?

    How can you save comments?.....

I think Suha is right. Even if they've known each other for a long time and things are going well now, they really only did just start dating. Its not good to rush, especially since this is Suha's first time in a real relationship. Jiwoon is adorable and Suha is totally falling for him, he just needs to let Suha move at a pace that feels comfortable.

Am I the only one who would totally read a yuri spin off of sunha and the ceo lady?

i think seungho does love nakyum but he doesn't realize it yet. he's just jealous of nakyums feelings for inhun. i think seungho fell for the version of nakyum in love and has wanted to have nakyum feel that way about him since. he got a taste of it when they slept together and nakum was drunk. he got to experience sex while hearing 'i love you' and i think thats when his jealousy over and desire for nakyum really started, beforehand he was attracted but not anymore than he was to his other fuckbuddies.

i also don't think nakyum still has feelings for inhun. i think nakyum is still very hurt by him and sad but he's not in love anymore. he's too aware that inhun will never give him what he needs and that inhun is a selfish asshat who used and neglected him. he's already chosen seungho over him at least 2x (when he wouldn't tell him about the conversion with seungho's brother and when he didn't try follow inhun when he left). he doesn't love seungho but he's more comfortable with him now. i think seungho will realize he's in love first and start trying to help nakyum with his sexual hang-ups, because before he can love seungho he's going to have to learn to love himself again. ╥﹏╥

idk but im not ruling out a happy ending anymore, it seemed much less likely in the beginning but now seungho is improving slowly so we'll see, really though as long as nakyum is okay i'll be satisfied.

You worded this perfectly. I hope author-nim gives them both the ending they deserve (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
