It doesn't matter how good your intentions are, there are certain boundaries that shouldn't be crossed. Even if this dude was trying to help the main character before, all he did was embarrass him and make him uncomfortable. He should have apologized and stopped when MC expressed how uncomfortable he was, but instead he got angry and violent. Even now, he still doesn't respect boundaries. Since this is a webtoon and he's the ML, there's a chance that he'll change and grow into a better person (which still wouldn't excuse his current actions but its still something), but often times these toxic ML's get forgiven for no reason when the main character falls in love with them.
