so i meet this guy through a friend i know,,, and this guy lives 2 states away. i haven't met him in person yet, but through the guy's friend i know that he likes me.
this guy has already given me his free copy of don't starve,(a game that's 10??? dollars and if you buy it you get a free copy to give to someone else) and hes planning to get me overwatch(which is like, 60 fucking dollars). i really appreciate him making the effort to get me it, but i feel weird accepting something worth such a large sum of money;;;
if it was you, what would you do in this situation? would you accept it? or, how would you refuse?
First, how long have you known him? I have a friend I met online and now we've known each other for over two years. I trust him a lot now but before I really knew him I don't think I would accept gifts or stuff from him (not that he isn't a nice person it's just so sudden)
Second, if you don't feel comfortable accepting the gift then don't take it. It is a lot of money. I would suggest only accepting a gift like that if your really good friends or dating
Third, to refuse just be honest and polite. He's already done so much for you, tell him that and then gently decline his offer to get you more stuff
personally i would refuse. if it was a person i barely knew trying to give me an expencive gift it would have me concerned. if it were me i would say "i'm sorry i can't accept this. but thank you for the thought" and then maybe after you know him for a while know what kind of person he is it will be easier to accept or decline when he tries to give you something
P.S. some guys try to use gifts and money to try to impress girls or get their attention so maybe he is using this method to try to get you to like him but i think a relationship based on him thinking he has to continue gifts for you to stay with him is not going to go well for either of you

ive known this guy for maybe a little less than half a year. we've talked a lot in that time, so i'd say i know him pretty well.
the sole reason he would buy me the game is not for my attention or to impress me, but simply because he wanted it to play it with me and knows i couldn't purchase it myself.
Manga about art? Doesn't matter what genre, but I guess I prefer shoujo or yaoi.
