funochi created a topic of Kill the Villainess

spoilers and a really long yap ahead
THIS. WAS. PEAK. i genuinely find this piece of work amazing and i seriously need to yap about it right now. LORDDDDD. eris was such a tragic character and i felt so much sadness for her. she was just trying. in a toxic world of aristocracy, was it really her fault to be that way? people may label her as a villainess but she was genuinely so pitiful. my heart breaks for her. the "eris" that takes over her body is insanely human. WOW. she was depicted differently from other mcs that ive read so far. she had feelings, she missed who she was, she didn't easily accept the life she woke up to and was determined enough to go back to her world. a fucking badass. i can't even explain the admiration i have for her character and how strong she is to go through such an unfamiliar setting in a world she READ. hello??? HELLO??? helena being an actual nice kindhearted "mc" was such a nice change of pace. it was understandable why eris hated her as everything was just given to helena from the start. her unchanging innocent nature having to slowly realize the harsh reality was such a satisfying yet sad scene to read. the three men were gross until the end. alecto was just an egotistical bastard that assumed helena would just go with the flow and even had the audacity to yearn for eris' love by the end of it bc "she loved him for who he was". UGH fuck you. jason was just a bitch honestly like he had the whole "i can fix you" mindset which was unbearable to read. i understand that his life was pitiful as his fate was set from the start bc a dragon fabricated an oracle but him pushing himself to protect and??? idfk love "eris" just to make himself feel better was selfish. lastly. hubris. ohhhhhh BOY he just continues to prove the fact that priests are gross. his obsession for "eris" was insane and he was willing to commit incest. what a despicable bastard. not once did he think about "eris". HONESTLY THE THREE OF THEM NEVER DID!!! DAMN MEN AINT SHITTT... unless they're anakhin. he is a man of his own. oh my god bro like his devotion, love, loyalty, and respect for "eris" is insane im so fucking happy for their ending. they both deserve it after everything they've been through. the witches were such an interesting concept and i honestly grew fond of medea. girlbossed i fear. the mizellians have a tragic story behind them too, from eris' mother being indifferent to her father being the true villain from the start. asshole. just like the emperor. that man had no resolve in killing his son, knowing damn well his beloved wife loved him. the empress' rage was so valid, what a fucking asshole. all the men (except anakhin) here are freaks. SIGH overall, this is peak. it's awesome. i have to admit that i had this in my to-be-read list for a while now and happened to find it in the lying depths of my list, completed. it was a bit boring for me at first (im so sorry) but i gave it a chance and thank god i did bc i grew more curious everytime i finished a chapter... and the lore just kept GOING. it was tragic. awesome read. i loved this. regret that i didn't read this sooner but im glad i found it when it was completed. 100% recommended. i wish i could yap more but im honestly tired. mwah ;3
