I've come to realise that this genre of garbage has the same "appeal" as shitty soap opera to some people. I was never into soap opera and whenever I asked people why they like it, they answer that they don't like it, they most watch to witness the car wreck and maybe if they're lucky, there will be some come uppance for the awful "ex-wife, home wrecker, evil mother in law, etc." (notice how they're mostly vilified women but that's a talk for another day)....
I think that this shitty story without a single redeemable quality is my soap opera. I have 0 enjoyment from reading this and I even removed it from my reading list so I don't get notifications. Yet, every now and then, it comes up on the home page where I look for new stories and I'm like "I wonder if that dumpster fire is still as awful" and to no one's surprise, yes it is the gift that keeps on giving
