MC has no sense of self-preservation. The guy who kidnappde him and is capable of snapping him in halves in 0.000001 seconds asked him one thing: do not fuck around with another guy. What does he do? Fuck around with another guy.
I'm not absolving ML from blame, he is obviously in the wrong for involving MC to begin with and not just helping him from afar if he feels indebted towards him. I'm not discussing the morality of MC or ML, I'm stating that MC has no sense of self-preservation because he keeps acting against his own interests and keeps doing the one thing that could trigger the guy to abuse him. Like what's going on here? Did he leave his brain in his mother's womb?
