Listen this is fiction and all that but there is something super icky about an older person going after someone just because they are inexperienced, getting off on being their first everything, and expressing disdain towards past partners for getting attached ( who were young and inexperienced as well).
Basically, his whole thing is going after inexperienced guys wanting to taint them (he used the specific word "untainted") and then being like "how dare you get attached to me when I specifically wanted to leave a mark on you and schemed to be your everything".
The way ML thinks is just predatory and disgusting
