Angst aside, the ending was very meaningful, I think. Yellow dragon wanted to atone for his sins and also give him a happy life. He was able to do both, he waited for him and was able to be happy with his family until Yellow Dragon got back to him. Amazing
If you wanted to rip out my heart you just had to say so. This is too much angst for me to handle, especially when Kaoru and Rin meet and when Rin loses his memories. At least the hapoy ending makes up for everything
