If anyone is thinking of reading this story, PLEASE DO. This manhwa is absolute perfection. I have an exam tomorrow and instead of studying I spent the whole day reading this in one sitting. From the writing, to the art, the characters, it’s all just so amazing. I haven’t felt so engrossed and happy reading an OI in a long time but this did it for me. It’s become one of my favorites. My only regret is that I read it too fast and should have waited until the new season is out. I won’t even be mad if I fail my exam because of this.
I bet the whole “waiting 7 years” isn’t him pinning after her when she was a child but rather him having gone back through time. He already lived through the 3 years of war and when he went back to see her she must have already been executed. Most likely took a year for him to find a way to go back through time and then having to go through the war for another 3 years. So in total he’s been waiting for her for 7 years, not 3. Explains so much why “he’s changed” and does things before they happen like foreshadowing her execution.

MC is blamed for everything and anything it’s ridiculous. She does something nice she’s ridiculed, she ‘acts’ mean she’s ridiculed, she stands up for herself she’s ridiculed, she doesn’t stand up for herself she’s ridiculed, if she apologies she’s ridiculed, if she doesn’t apologise she’s ridiculed, if she BREATHES she’s ridiculed. She can’t even exist without someone blaming her both in the story and out.

How much you wanna bet it’s the typical “You sent me letters?” Or “I didn’t think I was worthy enough to talk to you” situation.
Everyone else had parental figures/family give them flowers so I was hoping Jiwoo’s mom or Kayden in human form would show up, not complaining about Jiyong but would have definetly made the moment more heartwarming.
The story is actually pretty good and interesting the only thing that irks me is the lack of male characters. Why is everyone around MC a girl? There isn’t one single important male side character around him and even the one male character (his assistant) is SPOILERS somehow also a girl?? I’m gonna keep reading just cause I like MC and the plot but man I wish they would add in an important dude for the MC to befriend.
