ps. imo no amount of sad back story can ever change how jaekyung treated dan in the past. but, i do think that the back story adds more depth to the story itself.

This would have been so much better if it was longer. It seems like the kid became a sociopath probably because of how he was raised but the story doesnt really explore the mental health aspects.
