Maybe its because we are the readers and know what the situation is and everything, but this female lead is seriously getting on my nerves. she has this second opportunity to live and instead of getting answers, she does nothing of the sort. She sorta entitled asf too. I love this story but the fL is just irritating.
i feel the same... she doesn't even look further into the situation. like during the imprisonment, the father gave her(og) a knife but never told her to kill herself, and she js misunderstood his intentions. and what's weird is that the fl never even questions it....
she didnt even think much abt his words and affection AFTER what the father said at the ball.....
RIGHT!! like i want to like her but there are obvious solutions to her problems: communication. like yeah shes scared of her dad, but she should at least figure out why all that happened in the first place. Its almost irritating to see her always feeling bad for herself when she could take action
i js wish there were more stories where the characters dont lack so much communication to the point that its stupid. almost all problems in many mangas i read r bc of their fckn communication skills and it drives me crazy but i keep reading bc i want to know what happens next ╥﹏╥

She never said she doesn’t blame herself??? She knows what she dis was wrong and is explaining ing the situation, not making excuses. If she was making excuses, it would mean she doesn’t acknowledge her mistakes and pushes the blame on others. She didn’t have a healthy and safe relationship. Her abuser was the father of her kid, she was young and I’m assuming that it was the abuser’s fault for impregnating her such as forcing her into it, manipulation or even having unprotected sex. She was young, most likely didn’t have great decisions making skills and thought the easiest thing was to run away and comeback when she had proper resources for her child. As she stated, she didn’t care if she was the second woman, all that mattered was that she was out of that abusive relationship. There is a part where she is seen watching her child from afar, meaning she still wanted him in her life, not wanting to completely abandon him. But because she could not produce and heir fast enough, she wasn’t able to bring him back on her own. By producing that man’s a child, it would mean she’d have a form of insurance that if she brought her real child, she wouldn’t get kicked out with him. The mother and the ml most likely haven’t properly communicated about the whole pst situation, so thats why he the seem distant. She most likely not going to try and justify what she chose because he suffered from it. She would rather have him be justifiably angry with her, because she is also angry with herself. And the real antagonist in this situation, is the biological father of the ml. Not only did he abuse the ml and mother, he was irresponsible and backed the mother into a corner. Y’ll just so quick to insult the mother because you think everything is black and white, good and evil. Mother leave kid = she evil
I agree. Idk but i really feel sorry for battered wives/women. Theyre literally victims themselves. Sometimes,the abuse compels them to make tough decisions. But really,i can really see that she really does love her son.
