Sorry i made a mistake, the silver haired guy (Blaine, the one who was fighting at the arena, whose sister was kidnapped) i got him confused with the white/silver haired guy who fl got in the carriage by mistake.
The ML is silver haired guy name Blaine, who later becomes MC's bodyguard.
I got them confused because they are both silver haired, with the exception that ML true identity and physical looks change due to magic.

I also like the prince as the ML since prince has more screen time and gets well with MC, like their interactions are more likeable to me. I'd liked to see an alternative ending with prince being the end game, but sadly, though fortunately Baine is the end game. That's because i feel like because of the Empress actions' MC wouldn't be wanting to date someone who was tied (though it wasn't really up to the prince, if anything he was also a victim to empress's schemes) but still to date someone who was directly connected to the person who killed her mother, i would probably feel the same way.
I don't much since i stopped reading the novel at some point and forgot much of it already, but i do remember Blaine being the end game.
I think it's logical since they are both extras that should've died. She views the others as nothing more than characters
This made my day. OMGGGG I had a feeling it was Blaine!!! I knew Damon wasn’t the male lead or the captain of the imperial knights. The crown prince was who I had pegged but it’s always a crown prince that becomes the ML!! I love Blaine and his loyalty to the FL. It’s unfortunate that it’s not the prince but hey I’m not mad that it’s Blaine. If anything I’m looking forwards to how they push the narrative between the fl and Blaine. I read this way too fast I’m sad now （￣へ￣）

I compared the watches, and Sasaki's watch is a metallic silver band with a circular face while his college friend's watch is a dark colored strap with a rectangular face. I'm guessing that Miyano was reminded that he found someone's watch in the nurse's office next to his head. He'll probably ask Sasaki if it's his watch.
