if i remember correctly, all his life people befriend him cause they want something from him either fame or influence so he really had his walls up for friends then until dohu came, he felt like for once in his life he genuinely had a connection with someone so when he found out that dohu initially approached him cuz he was using him as a reference for his work. he felt betrayed esp since they were already past friendship (⊙…⊙ ) that’s basically it afaik
