is it just me but i hate it when a seemingly normal story ends up with a cringe backstory, like destiny or they died in the past and reincarnated in the future, or just completely unrelated to say they belong w each other, can't they just be normal
ikr i hate that shit too. like the story is faring well as a strangers to lovers trope and out of buttfuck nowhere there's 'they met before/knew each other in past life' and it just kinda brings down the novelty of a work in a really uncreative way. It feels forced, and interrupts the flow of whatever was going on already.
It does suit certain types of stories which have this element as a central idea around which the events revolve. But inserting it randomly in the middle for no reason at all looks so out of place, it doesn't feel like the original work any longer.
I just realized his earrings a bear?!!!! Oh my gosh how cute can you be byul
Yes. He bought a set and he gave the other earring to his mom. If you look at the thumbs up panel you'll see it in both of their ears.
oh man, its cause i reread it and skipped all the bar scenes and yes, i remember it now that u mentioned it
Fair. Byul is a Mama's Boy all the way and I love it
