I mean, it's a fetish derived from immense wishful thinking. Doesn't have to be possible to be appealing. He wanted to have the child of the man that he loved. This story is weird and fucked up but that part was genuinely sad/realistic to some gay people's experiences. (Note: I'm NOT saying the part about him getting hard. Just that longing to be the mother of your loved ones child is something some gay people feel irl)
