Jealousy.
Especially when it’s level-headed characters that suddenly start displaying jealousy over insignificant things like character A being friendly with a random, and I don’t mean like random is flirting with them or has made it clear they have feelings for them, I’m just talking about regular day-to-day camaraderie.
