I mainly read BL, and when I’m not reading BL, I’m reading some slice-of -life vanilla story, so I don’t really read too much straight smut.
I see comments all the time in BL about people wanting the bottom to get pregnant.
Does that happen in straight smut as well? Are the readers clamoring in the comments for the women to get pregnant?
I’m just curious if it’s a smut thing, or a BL thing.

I’ve seen a lot of things, but the things that always excite me is when I discover a new company releasing webcomics, only to realize none of the ones I’d like to see are being released :(
Just discovered that Wet Sand and Cherry Blossoms after winter are getting physical releases by a company called Inklore, there’s also Ize Press releasing ORV, Solo Leveling and Murderous Lewellyn’s Candlelit Dinner.
Codename Anastasia got an English release, but I’d like for it to get a physical release (either and/or the comic and novels) and I own physical releases of Passion (both novels and comics), but they’re not in English.

It wouldn’t be the first time I lose a site I read on, but I like the format of this one, and I would have to make another account elsewhere, so for convenience sake I hope it allows over like it usually does.
Anyway, what tf is wrong with people’s brains? I follow some authors/artists and even if I see the raws on certain illegal sites, I pretend I don’t know what’s going on and only comment on what I *should* know. It’s not that hard to comment on their work without telling them you’re ripping them off (or in my case I follow the official English releases, but check out the raws illegally, so I just pretend I haven’t seen the raws).

Ok, if I like a series enough, I want to buy merch. Lately like 99% of series I read are webcomics and a lot of the, have merch, even some I wouldn’t think are that popular, the sad part is that most of the ones I’m reading and would love merch for don’t have any :(
Of the ones I think are popular, I’m surprised they haven’t made physical releases for Codename Anastasia. I’ve gotten the physical copies of the Passion novels and manwha and Roses and Champagne even got an official English release, so I’m surprised there have not been any news of any physical releases for Codename Anastasia.

You can trying searching proxy sites/businesses. Idk where in the world you’re located at but it’s not Asia, which is unfortunate because all of the merch you’re wishing for is probably only being sold in Asia. My only advice is to do your research on the proxy business you’re giving your money to. I found some Codename Anastasia merch. But lowkey I hate this proxy business, and I’d rather not send anyone towards their way, unless it’s you want it as a last resort. Cause they could be making you wait 6 months like they’re doing to me. Try looking at manga stores, figurine stores, and proxy businesses.

I’m in a non-BL slump and sometimes I want to talk to people about things I’m into that are more universal.
I’ve found I enjoy slice-of -slice type stories, but I feel like Slice of life is not a popular genre to talk to people, either.
I’m looking for something more marketable, preferably with a male lead and absolutely NO Romance, and no little siblings/kids either unless the character(s) are well written and not just a prop that causes MC problems.
I tried reading Solo Leveling and couldn’t get into it.
I’ve been eyeing ORV, but haven’t started.
Have read Noblesse, & The King’s avatar.
Thank you!

hmmm i have a feeling u'll like this based on what ure eyeing, enjoy

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun is by far the most endearing, fun, and dynamic shounen I have ever read ^^

My brother and I randomly started talking about Serial Experiments Lain and I mentioned to him that it’s almost 30 years old. Wow…we didn’t watch it when it came out, but it’s still been a while.
What is the oldest anime you remember watching and were you surprised it’s been that long?
Some of the “modern” anime I’ve seen is already like 5+ years *eek!*

The first anime I ever watched was Death Note and I saw that around 11 years ago. Though I remember watching bits and pieces of other anime before Death Note since my parents and older sibling watched anime before I got into it (things like Dragonball, Naruto, Squid Girl, Chobits, etc.). I'm not really surprised it's been 11 years since I've started watching anime, though its always a bit of a shock when I talk to newer anime fans and they've never even heard of some of the anime that I started out with. That definitely makes me feel a bit old.
I try to buy merch from series I like when I can or when merch becomes available .I went to check if koonbooks is putting any restrictions on shipping to the US like others are, and didn’t see any notices, so I went to check out some stuff, because they’re constantly adding merch for pre order that gets sold out and I found a few things I want. The issue is that since they all ship from different places, shipping is not combined and it can get ridiculously expensive :’(
I’m so conflicted,
