My 2 (non-existing) cents:

Mmm overall, the plot wasn’t so bad. Communication was definitely tea. It was definitely fast paced, but there’s nothing wrong with it. It was pretty cute and it was semi-short, but I personally feel that it was lacking in character personality. I could tell that the author tried to get that angst, but me personally, I wasn’t feeling any.

I do like MC but I feel that his character and relationships tend to be lacking? I feel that him and ML’s relationship just happened so randomly, I wasn’t feeling any chemistry in their relationship at all, even at the end. I’m not saying that their relationship was forced, but what I’m saying is that it was definitely a little too fast- especially with MC catching feelings. I guess it seemed fast paced to me because of how fast MC moved on from the other guy (I forgot his name). I wasn’t trying to see it in a realistic pov, but I just felt that the time for him to heal was so short, and the behavior of him facing against his “unrequited love” wasn’t as angsty as I thought it would be. MC loved “other guy” for years without knowing he was being used and manipulated (until the end), and for him to just do a 180 right away without any lingering feelings? As I said, I wasn’t trying to see things in a realistic way, but for some reason this was the only part that stuck to me. What I do like about him is that he’s strong willed. I liked how he didn’t really let his past life stop him from achieving what he wanted, and that he stood up for himself. His communication was also very good and I loved the way how expressed himself. His overall character was cute and honest.

ML was also green flag. I felt that he definitely was a side character until we got deeper into the story. I was confused abt his behavior until I remembered he was supposed to be the “sadistic” top. Overall his character was good but nothing really stood about him. Me personally, he was so-so.

The smut scenes:

Now I wasn’t expecting it to be like Flashlight, but I did wanted to see more of ML sadistic role. I wasn’t expecting any toys or ropes but I hoping for more vocal stuff like “you can’t cum unless I tell you to cum” or something along those lines (I was definitely hoping for some freaky shi but I didn’t get my hopes up too high). Like we barely got one panel of it and I just feel that I wished to see more of it. Like he did tell MC to beg once in awhile, but I wanted to see MC grovel and like BEEEGGG for it ya know?
