
Y’all it’s kind of wild but what if Guwon is actually behind all the chaos? What if like Sisyphus he’s also trying to prevent death altogether and the town itself is a symbolic representation of that attempt? We first see Guwon literally rising from the ground, almost like he came back from the dead and kinda like tricking death (which in Greek mythology is personified as Thanatos). Also Sisyphus was a cunning and manipulative king who exploited everyone for his own gain. And tan ta na nan ~ the townspeople are genuinely afraid of Guwon. But idk to me, at least on the surface, Guwon also seems friendly and positive but you know what they say one must imagine Sisyphus happy.
Or he's a victim of some sort of experiment (the very first creation or something)
