Guys I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be mirroring xenophobia on purpose. Like it's pretty clear the main characters are not good/moral people. The idol girl even says that to kill aliens he has to "become a monster." I'm curious how the story's gonna end, but so far it's shown us that both humans and aliens can do good and bad. Although I dislike how they only gave the girl one personality trait
