First of all, the plot was really predictable. I knew right away the Duke was the serial killer and he was picking victims who looked like Louis cuz OBVIOUSLY. And I knew immediately when the drug was introduced that the Duke drugged Louis cuz OBVIOUSLY. Even ML (Mettel or Metternich I have no idea what his name is) lampshades it at the end that it was SO OBVIOUS and he has no idea why it took so long for Louis and co. to figure it out.
Which brings me to my next point. How does Louis NOT REALIZE anything? Like he's so goddamn dumb that I'm just like ok you know what, maybe he does need someone like the ML pulling the strings for him cuz I can't trust him to live his own life. I mean he doesn't eat, doesn't sleep, is a workaholic, is DENSE AS HELL. ML literally calls him the White Rabbit who runs away and the mob characters all "omg did he run away from ML?" And Louis is just like "Is the rabbit a pet?" Like who let someone like that become an investigator?
Like I'm gonna get so downvoted for this but he made me actually think the ML is more sane in comparison. Don't get me wrong, ML does a lot of problematic things. But I'm almost sympathizing with him. Being as insecure as he is, it probably does not help being paired up with someone who is super dense. Like Louis tells ML he loves him, and ML just like "is that a lie?" Louis is like "sorry I didn't make it clear but I like you!" even tho he DID make it very clear the first time. And ML STILL doesn't believe him. And I'm like you know what, neither would I! Cuz Louis is so dumb, I can't trust him to understand what is going on half the time. And the other characters know it too! So again, WHO LET HIM BE AN INVESTIGATOR?
The only good thing about him is when he actively fought back against the Duke when he got captured. I really thought he'd be full on damsel in distress and tied up the entire time till ML came to save him, so I was happy to see him snark, get loose, and get a few attacks in on the Duke.

I kinda wish it was longer just so we had more of Siyeol groveling or trying to make amends cuz all he really did was follow Aejoon around while Aejoon kept being all "begone thot" before deciding Siyeol might be serious cuz he started crying. It was kind of repetitive, Siyeol shoulda tried other methods or Aejoon should have done other things in keeping to his rejection. But meh, I enjoyed Siyeol's crying face and his being left behind with his face being wrapped in that curtain.
