So my friends and I like reading Korean/Chinese/Japanese novels, and we wanted to make a discord group focused on reading and discussing them. We're not limited by genre, we read BL, GL, Rofan, etc.

For example, one of our members reads Case File Compendium and another one reads Assistant Manager Kim Hates Idols.

I've discovered a LOOOOT of novels from the manhwas on mangago honestly. Like Bye-Bye, I Became the Lousy Side Top, Netkama Punch, etc. Just discovered Living as a extra in a BL Omegaverse and about to read that too lmao

Anyway, if we get enough members we hope to be like a reading club where we choose a novel to read and discuss it. Also we hope to host fun online events and even offline meet ups for those in our area. (Which area? Join to find out!)

Hi! I'm from Stray City Scans. We're kind of a newbie group that does supernatural themed manga, and we're hoping to get more members!

Typesetters (URGENT)
Experience isn't necessary. No test required either :D

Cleaners/Redrawers (URGENT)
Experience isn’t necessary but preferred. You'll need to take a test though.

Proofreaders (URGENT)
Fluent in English. You don't need experience, but you should have basic knowledge of grammar. You'll also still need to take a test.

I know, I know soooo many tests! But we want to make sure we put out top quality stuff! And the tests aren't that hard. We just gotta see your skills in action!

Responsible for translating manga chapters to English.
Japanese level must be intermediate or above.
(Note: For anyone interested in this position, you will be sent a small translating test to complete)

Typesetters
Responsible for typesetting speech bubbles and other text.
Must have access to Photoshop.

Cleaners/Re-drawers
Responsible for cleaning or re-drawing chapters.
Must have access to Photoshop.

Proofreader/Quality Checker
Responsible for correcting grammar mistakes and making sure the text
sounds natural.
As a quality checker, responsible for looking out for any other mistakes
(ex: text not translated, etc.).
Must be fluent in English and have a good sense of grammar.

No prior scanlation experience is necessary.

So I've seen a lot of huuuuuge discord servers where it can be kind of hard to talk or get a word in.
