The generic plot really threw me off in the beginning but their relationship made up for it. I loved both of their characters, loved the seme's redemption arc, loved their relationship dynamic as well. Plot could've been better though but still it was a good read<3
I shed actual tears during chapter 81 when Ian was reminiscing about Jo for a moment like.....what about Jo??? I'm not blaming Ian cuz I sympathize and love him but Jo means so much to me. He's been nothing but nice, patient, loving and caring. It's so clear that he's passionate about his photography and he has goals in his life he wants to achieve but he was willing to get into this mess just for Ian OH MY GOD. I don't want him to lose his innocence and kindness by doing something that will damage him his whole reaction to witnessing Ian kill that man in the alley was so heartbreaking I feel so bad for him I'm gonna cry.
I'm rereading this cuz I wanted to gather my thoughts on tj like I rmbr when I was reading this for the first time, I did not like tj and I didn't like whatever tj and Ian had going on but then seeing how much everyone ships these two on TikTok I thought maybe Im biased maybe tj really is all that and now I can confidently say I don't fw tj and Ian and honestly why is Jo so underappreciated??? Like he's such a nice character I'm not even saying that Ian and Jo is better a ship than Ian and TJ cuz people can ship whoever they want, all I'm saying is why don't more people like Jo??? LIKE HES SUCH A WELL WRITTEN CHARACTER WITH HIS OWN STRUGGLES he adds this emotional flair to this story that really makes me appreciate the effort the author put into their characters!
This was such a breath of fresh air and I'm so glad season 2 will be 15+ like I genuinely want nothing more from these two than the adorable domestic fluff they had going on this was genuinely so heartwarming and so beautiful like oh my god I'm so emotional it's not everyday you get to read such peak

Am I the only one who actually loved this whole misunderstanding and breakup plotline?? I was actually getting bored of their lovey dovey scenes being shown all the time but seeing this angsty arc AND ALSO IT BEING WRITTEN SO WELL I loved it honestly
From ch 1 I could immediately tell that this was not your typical shoujo and it's gonna have really mature and well written characters but after ch 13 why do I feel so disappointed?? Like arata's character is so pointless it adds nothing to the plot, ml is pissing me off and our FL had so much potential to be the bad bitch I thought she'd be but NO???
