im not really good at explaining but basically nobunaga does eventually find out that ranmaru didn't betray him because he overhears maru and the guy that killed him, talking in a shed and the guy was like talking about 'how he killed ranmaru' and just yapping out bullcrap and whatever. nobu's misunderstanding is resolved and strengthens their trust (they had reconciled before hand).
uhh the guy who 'killed' ranmaru, eventually gets killed by nobu, because the guy was about to assassinate maru but fortunately nobu stepped in and killed him..
