I know we are far in the story but I dont like her like her and im gonna be so pissed when she shows up. Like ain't no way you go up to your ex and tell them, yeah, I made the villain after you the villain that you actually hate. That and he's so sweet about it. He's like ", is that your ex? You should go to him." like she was trying to egg him on and try to get with him again or something like leave this man alone. The only reason they broke up was because she became uninterested, and he cried over seven years man. Like he didn't cheat, he's hot. I understand losing interest, but like being mean to him after is crazy work

I hate stories with slaves in it. I understand it makes sense historically but I just hate it cause it. The story is good so I can't stop but it just passes me off cause this is the way yt ppl thought about black slaves it disgusts me.

Girl I'm not gonna have this debate, but I said black cause black slavery in the 1800s was about how the black race was a lesser then species. Slavery before then was about being apart of the losing country or having debt. I'm saying black slaves because in this fantasy world they believe the animal-human creatures are lesser then beings to be controlled or put done. Not because they are apart of a losing nation. Sorry i didnt clarify i forgot white people feel bad about the atrocities, they did so much that they liked to deflect and say that every race was a slave argument knowing that it was a different type of slavery and mentality when they were slaves compared to the 1800s in the Americas. To belittle the struggle that african americans face now and back then. But thanks for the lesson I didn't need.

I'll give you tye benefit of the doubt you didn't read my fucking reply. But I have a question why does it matter if I put " black slaves" or just "slaves" cause I'm getting hate for one fucking word. It's also Crazy how I got to give a history lesson to people that are trying to "educate" me. And explain why I type one fucking word.

The world history does not revolve around USA. It is sad what happened to black people but slaves were and are treated less than a dirt on a ground everywhere- it's just pop culture and big budget originates from USA so it's easier to give voice to this group specifically and silence all the others that went through similar experience. Also you lost the moment you start calling people names - that shows you lack any argument to back up your comment.

I think korea in general isn't anti imperial , so authors would have rose tinted views of aristocracy . Your anger about slavery is valid . I think people don't know enough history to know how bad it was . Like they used to eat slaves and call themselves nobels. I also agree with the fact that it wasn't just black people that were slaves , different ethnic groups were also enslaved due to aristocracy. That is not to invalidate the struggles of black inslaved people , think people forget it's not just a common struggle but the common cause , which was the Class difference and how the ruling class didn't see humanity to those of lower status. My point being in stories , like these the world building and the understanding of history is never the priority. Hence why you clearly see the cracks in who we are supposed to see as the " good guys" . And how moreoften than not commoners and those who are half blood are villains . It is the lack of understanding of the common folk struggles and the over aggrandizing of rich people . The koreans society do love their cheabols , as most common folk think they are closer to billionaire than actual other common folk. So it's understandable that it leaves an icky taste in your mouth. But I think I enjoy theses comics because when you come to a shifty generic corpo establishment for food , I don't expect gourmet . Its only ment to be romantic generic corpo shit that sells . Very rarely will you see a well made world ,story, character etc . All which is cohesively made and well crafted story. As they main purpose is to sell slop people regurgitate and enjoy . Anyways have a nice day

There was no argument in my reply I am asking genuine questions and in the first reply i talked about i was making connections to my understanding of 1800s slavery in the America's to the story. I explained my thought process the idea of black slaves in the Americas being slaves because "they are lesser then beings" i connected that to the story. Also I NEVER called anyone names if you are talking about the "girl" that's her username cause I first didn't know how to reply properly. I'll make it clear i know there are different types of slaves however my connections in my understanding of from the point of view of the 1800s slaves in america. Also no one is giving me examples of different area of slavery where they had the same mindset of a whole race is lesser then it's mostly about a country losing the war , debt or other cercomstance and yes the slaves were treated bad ( like property) but it wasn't hate from there features it was " I own you " mentality. And once African American were " freed" in America they were believed to be lesser than beings that should not be mixed in with the whites. I understand that I'm not bringing light to others struggles and also not bringing light to to all forms over slavery but it's not my job and never will be. I'm making connections based on my knowledge to a webtoon. I'm just not understanding why I'm getting hate. Cause again it's not my job to talk about struggles that I'm not educated on. Nor should I be expected to. I just don't understand why everybody is hung up on why I'm only making connections on one type of slavery that I am actually very vastly knowledged on again. This is my correlation and my connections to a story. And my opinion so I'm allowed to talk about something that I'm educated on. And I don't need to bring up the struggles of things that I'm not educated on.
Cause I have no place to. I think i'm just hung up on the fact that people are on my ass about what I make my connections on.

I understand and I am sorry that you are getting heated messages but people from other regions will call any other person out for highlighting only USA's problems.
As for example: Slavic people in middle ages, word Slave comes from the word Slavic. Group of people persecuted purely on origin (there are multiple Slavic countries). They were considered property and not even human.
You are allowed to have an opinion and no one is questioning it, the way you only highlighted one group like it's the only one deserving mentioning seems to be a problem. If you just said slavery, periodt I think many people would agree with you like one commenter below my previous comment as they are better versed on Korean mindset than I am.

I understand your point about the depiction of Black people as lesser beings in the 1800s being particularly horrible and disturbing. For clarity in possible future discussions I recommend you specify the time period you’re referring to, as the history of slavery is quite broad and has involved lots of different groups throughout time. And it seems you’re assuming I’m white based on my comment? I’m sorry to tell you this but I’m not, I’m a proud Filipino and Mexican.
So just be clearer next time, yes I agree it was horrible but not everybody is belittling African Americans, it’s just the truth. As crazy as it seems lots of people don’t know history and tend to think just black people were enslaved.. which Isn't true (obviously) .
I’m not great with words but I hope you understand what I’m trying to get at.
*Note - You didn’t have to be apart of a losing country to become a slave, it was actually mostly criminals that the country’s (That they came from -usually-) sold off
And I’m also very uncomfortable with these kinds of tropes in manhwas, I wish they would avoid it.. but it’s whatever.

You know it's amazing how you can type on thing and how different people can interpret it I think that's the beauty in humanity. The diversity of creativity and thinking. Honestly, I'm kinda bored and annoyed with how much I have to explain my thought process in thinking. I even advocate for what I make my connections on on a misspelled, poorly grammered, not even coherent comment, but you know that's what I get for making a comment that nobody can properly comprehend. Cause i didn't type it right

Sorry I didn't finish that statement. So I was asking, why does it matter? If I talk about, let's use a metaphor, vanilla ice cream instead of Ice cream. This subgenre, of a bigger overlapping thing. Yeah. But I guess I just have to realize people are coming at this at a different point of view. I'm coming at this as somebody that went to an american lynching museum, slash slavery museum, and i saw a pair of shoes with a matching belt made from human skin. And you're probably coming from, this is somebody that didn't see that and didn't get traumatized.. i made a comment, poorly typed, about my frustrations of coming to a space to cope from my trauma, that I just digested. Just to Relive slash remember that trauma specifically when I saw that dog tied up scene that brought back me reading about one of the torture methods they used to do to black people. So I'm just coming at this at a different point of view from alot of you. Probably most of you. I think that's interesting. So I need to take a step back and realize people didn't see what I saw. So when I make my connections differently, I'd probably have to explain it so I don't want to and I don't think I need to, but I guess it's a "controversial" topic. Wish it wasn't.I wish it was a more open topic. Don't want to though to the fucking Comment to studpid webtoon, but you know, life is crazy

I'll be so real. I don't know how you were even able to comprehend my comment. But You think my poorly typed Commenting ability is gonna be able to clarify the time zone. I can't even clarify a punctuation mark. Also, yeah, I took it more as an attack on my intelligence. Because you thought I didn't know about all types of slavery because that's crazy work to not know that they're more than just black enslaved people, but I forget people are stupid. I just had to interact with stupid people in real life. So you came at a valid reason. Ngl.

The slavery of black africans was something unprecedented in history before. Yes, there was slavery. But not the type they invented for black africans. That was one of the cruelest slaveries ever. Before slaves had masters, yes. They were miserable and not free, yes. BUT they had rights. It was more like a social class. Black slaves were treated as if they were something beneath human and objects owned by white people. They did whatever they want with them. They made clothes out of their hair and shoes out of their skin.

is not an opinion, because it is true. That is something hitler did first. Then china is doing it now with Uyghurs and american with their prison inmates who OH WONDER WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT are mainly BIPOC. Who get prison sentences as long as possible for the same crime a white man just gets out on bail.

I understand your feelings and traumas. This topic is NOT an opinion, but a fact. However I dislike how you seemed to assume MY knowledge on the matter. "Somebody that didn't get traumatized", I did see horrible things and learned a lot about black slavery and how different it was from any other kind of slavery. I made a lot of research and also saw things as well. In no way or form am I going to disrespect anything you say, however I do think words hold a great and deep meaning. We shouldn't assume others' races, ethnicity, experiences or knowledge over one single comment. Which you did for many answers, and I think this is what made people angrier. This is just some communication tips, because nowadays people from different point of view come along.. we need to be careful.
We also shouldn't throw words around carelessly because of laziness, especially over a heavy topic like this one. I'm glad you realized this, and I'm really not blaming you for anything, this comment was more like an agreement on yours. Hope you have a good day!

I lowkey forgot to add it but I have no issues with you at all I totally understand what you mean.. now.
Oh another thing when I said I was Filipino & Mexican I forgot to add that I was also from America, I didn’t feel like typing allat though.
But you get it, A mixed American… basically everyone from America.
I just felt like you were implying I was white and uhh yeah. Good talk, have a nice day.. If anyone gives u anymore trouble about the misunderstandings lowkey just tell them to read the reply’s n stuff.
Have a nice day!

I don't see why people had to jump on you just because you specifically mentioned blacks but regarding this comment I have to add that before 19th century it wasn't all about debt or losing in a war. The most glaring example is the word "slave" itself. It comes from the name of my people — Slavic, Slav. Almost all non-Slavic and non-Baltic people from Europe and Americas use a related word to refer to "owned people". Why? Because back in those days Slavs were thought of being less. Mainly because they were not Christian and Muslim so that meant others were free to catch and sell them to their heart's content, nobody thought it to be disgusting as long as they are "dirty pagans". There was a religious reason as well.

Question. didn't you make assumptions about my wording too tho. No hate just want to point out it's kinda hard to not make assumptions in comments made on a manga site. also I don't think I'll ever change my mindset ngl cause I have to assume the worst in everyone for my safety and sanity.
Sorry I assumed you weren't traumatized but for me it's become eye opening that many people specifically in america don't understand or have seen the atrocities yt ppl done to black slaves. I had to learn the my ancestors were breed like cattle. And when I try to have an open conversation about these things in real life to real people I have to explain my self. And bring out source articles cause they don't believe me nor have 5gey been informed.
I'll say though it was targeted at you it was more a revelation that it's not common knowledge. Cause even though you say you agree with me I feel like I have attacked your knowledge and understanding just like I felt many have done when they made the " blacks weren't the only slaves you know" comment . To me it was an attack on my intelligence and or a lack of understanding on the commentors part. which where im from is getting scarce to come by. And to me atleast is more valuable then gold.

I don't understand bro basically said " if you don't help me the kingdoms that killed you people your family will be destroyed" girl I would have said great is that a guarantee this empire will fall or do I need to help the other side win the war cause yall deserve it. Like y is she saying yes so she could get her kingdom back? Girl that's not how it works it's already gone it's over and they stole your stuff too. I'm so pissed she said yes I hate these types of stories like you said revenge but instead you give me bullshit.

I’m tired of basic stupid FL and then staying with the man that hurt them like I don’t care if it’s a misunderstanding I’m mentally too petty to forgive and forget. And this stupid bitch got me raging like I stopped at chapter 22 cause I actually raged with how she had no logic or detective skills and why is like every body edging me and the FL about what happened when she was 8 like JUST FUCKING TELL HER SHES A FUCKING ADULT SHE CAN HANDLE IT LIKE WTF WHATEVER YOU TELL HER IS NOT THAT BAD COMPARED TO WATCHING HER FUCKING FAMILY DIE. I can’t I can’t I really cant
This gotta to be the geek in me but can't she use her water powers to take the blood out of her father cause he is getting annoying how stupid could he be. who sends the fake with a bloody back freshly carved like you dont think the duke got eyes and ears everywhere like how he not gonna find out she got wounds he is stupid take his blood. get good at your powers queen this is pissing me off
