I don’t really get what’s going on with this story anymore. It started so strong after the timeskip, and she was so cool for drawing the line, but now she’s taken ten steps backwards from what she should be doing. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Ig he still is the male lead.. need to keep their romance going somehow
imo it’d be great if she actually did stand her ground and have a sudden development with dohwa. We all know thats not happening though.. it’ll probably take that overused plot where it’s revealed what actually happened and eun hyuk’s sob story blah blah blah our girl forgives him and then we suddenly like him again. Not saying thats a bad thing but like honestly why cant the 2nd ml ever get the happy ending

At this point, Ian MUST figure out on his own who he really wants to be with. He better let go of one of them and stand his ground.
I never hated Ian, okay? Just make up your mind already and end the triangle. I wouldn’t even be shocked if he chose to move forward by himself—he deserves peace away from everything.
This story is hella torture to read.

Reality speaking, ten years without contact—like literally being dumped out of nowhere—really sucks. That’s why I easily understand Su-ae’s feelings about having a hard time accepting or interacting with Eunhyeok. I can’t blame her for feeling that way; she’s absolutely right that he should never underestimate what a 10-year gap means. Everything could change, including her feelings and the way she treats him.
She’s actually strong for meeting him again and learning to let him go. If she ever ends up with Dohwa, I think he deserves it for staying by her side, and Su-ae deserves it for moving forward with her life.
If she ended up with Eunhyeok, it feels like Su-ae is just seeking validation and answers for why he left her for 10 years, then proceeding to be together again as if nothing happened. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Alright, ghosting is a complex issue. Dohwa ghosted her because he chose himself and left for good after being rejected. It wasn’t about staying; rather, he respected her feelings for Eunhyeok back then and chose to distance himself.
On the other hand, Eunhyeok’s ghosting involved a betrayal of Su-ae’s trust and affection, leaving her to deal with confusion and heartbreak.

Dohwa’s ghosting also involved betrayal but not of the romantic nature. They were not just some acquaintances. They were very good friends. She did so much for Dohwa too and the minute she rejected him he ghosted her without any justification. It’s fine if Dohwa wanted to be away from her and give himself time to heal but he should have told her before. He should have said something, anything. He was her friend before anything else and he like Eunhyeok just disappeared from her life without a trace. Dohwa and Eunhyeok are both two sides of the same coin. The only difference is we know why Dohwa disappeared. We still have to find out why Eunhyeok disappeared.

He was her friend before anything else. By leaving without telling her he showed her that she was only reduced to a love interest for him. It’s okay to leave to heal yourself but he should’ve said something. If I was rejected by my dear friend whom I love I would tell them. I would tell them before leaving because they meant that much to me. Even though I would be unbelievably hurt that friend had always been there for me. They deserve to know. Su-ae rejected him because she was already dating someone else. Dohwa never confessed before it was too late. He didn’t even give her a chance to discuss things. Dohwa meant a lot to Suae too. He disappeared from her life like he didn’t exist and that did hurt her no matter what reason. Maybe Eunhyeok had an even bigger reason for leaving that we don’t know yet. The point is in their own respective relationships both Dohwa and Eunyeok hurt Suae. They betrayed her love and trust in them.
Damn, Hyesung and Byul are such a diva mother-son duo! But now that I remember him secretly meeting his grandma behind his mom’s back, I’m kinda worried about Hyesung’s reaction.
Anyway, Byul and Siwoo are so boyfriend-coded — like they just broke up but secretly got back together again HAHAHAHAHA.
wait what why did byul had to meet up wt his grandma tho?
It was in Chapter 4. He just can’t help but be worried about her since his mom doesn’t see his grandma anymore, and her new family stopped talking to her after she got divorced — so basically, she’s alone.
Byul doesn’t remember or know what actually happened between his grandma and his mom, but he keeps in touch with her without anyone knowing — and so does his dad.
