Reality speaking, ten years without contact—like literally being dumped out of nowhere—really sucks. That’s why I easily understand Su-ae’s feelings about having a hard time accepting or interacting with Eunhyeok. I can’t blame her for feeling that way; she’s absolutely right that he should never underestimate what a 10-year gap means. Everything could change, including her feelings and the way she treats him.
She’s actually strong for meeting him again and learning to let him go. If she ever ends up with Dohwa, I think he deserves it for staying by her side, and Su-ae deserves it for moving forward with her life.
If she ended up with Eunhyeok, it feels like Su-ae is just seeking validation and answers for why he left her for 10 years, then proceeding to be together again as if nothing happened. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
