It put a blight on their career, but at the same time gave them some breathing space in a situation where they were suffocated by expectations???
I can't hate the guy, especially since he openly admitted, voluntarily backed off from the kids, & tried to change rather than deny what he did.
I REALLY love how wholesome & human these characters are.
