I had so much hope for the plot. Its exactly my taste. Beautiful Art(earlier chapters). Secrets. Manipulation. Angst. Desire. Unapologetic fmc. The first chapters was very interesting that really made me continue reading. But many plans/plot and values were forgotten as the story progressed as its racing for the climax(disappointing). Bunch more questions left unanswered (we'll see in the future chapters). The mmc was just basically given a glowup and a position then reverted back to his slave personality in the later chapters. (I really loved him in the earlier chapters, then he/plot just got dumber n dumber. Especially in the latest chapters on how he handled the court meeting).
~~don't mind me, just want to mourn what could possibly have been an amazing read (pointing out to the plot, characters, and even the mannerism of how the story is being told) I wouldn't even mind if the art was regressing as long as the plot stays true and actually follows through. I just want the story to stay focused, not jump from one thing to another, leaving characters and their development hanging. (well maybe the Prince one has potential, but he keeps being caught up in emotions) It makes you wonder what's the point of all that buildup was in the first place.
