I hate how difficult it is to find a decent/enjoyable straight smut compared to Yaoi likeeee
The main character is so forgettable and boring to me, I don’t even remember his name. Alex was also so annoying, why the hell is this one of the most highly rated BL ??? The story fell flat, I felt like I was waiting for any sign of gradual buildup between the relationship of the mcs but nothing. It was dull, the side couple was so much more interesting to me. Does anyone else feel that way?? Anyways read barbarities if you want good BL ?

This shit was so ass, the plot had potential but the execution was boring. I don’t remember the main characters name which is on par with his personality; perfectly boring!!! The MCs personality is almost as tasteful as plastic but at least with plastic there’s an after taste with it. He was boring, put up with Alex’s shit, never grew a back bone, never put him in place and the only thing i could attribute him to saying was “I love alex” which isn’t very impressive as that’s as deep as his character goes. Just so boring; Alex pissed me off so bad but I could understand how he was based off on his past but he still felt flat to me. By chapter 20 I wanted to stop reading but I was hoping it was going to get better due to the ratings, by chapter 36 I’m unpleasantly surprised that nothing of interest has happened. How is this so high rated?? What is this shit. It’s so shit.

I love this manga don’t get me wrong yet I can’t help to notice how waguri is written with a lack of depth, I feel like in the earlier chapters she seems to follow the misogynistic trope of the “madonna/whore complex” where she is presented as one extreme that being the Madonna. She is kind, precious and cute. Almost to that of a saint. It just kills me, did anyone else notice this ???
