But the parallel between the brothers though. They're both suffering due to the adults around them. They're the actual victims of this mess. In the end, it doesn't matter who wins if they're both going to be miserable until the end.

    Srsly and they both seemed like such douches at the start of the story now I cant help but sympathize.. Nobody loves them but Jin (bodyguard) and Mi-eum (Mc).

    One keeps suffering for their mother's success, the other one is suffering to get his mother some justice. The people who should be guiding and correcting them literally is using them for their own sick game of revenge and power trip. I thought Jitae was gonna girlboss this season but he's still just a pawn made to suffer.

The reason why they grow up like this is because their parents never showed them the proper way to love. They never bothered to understand it either because they believe that love will only cause pain—using their parents as an example. Kids get fucked up by things they don't understand and then end up realizing right after. I'm not justifying him but in the end, it all comes down to their parents fr.
