Was always surprised by folx who thought Guwon had green flag potential. From the very start of the story when he clearly intended to let our guy die *until* he learned he was a teacher, it was clear something was off. The best one could hope for was that he'd be the type to burn the world down except for his love interest.
That being said, I did not expect to read him beat a person to death with a baseball bat while smiling. For trying to save his son's life. I don't know that any Frankenstein story line will work to rescue him from this sink, for me. The community's moral quandary is quite interesting, a great story set up, but the romance of it all...makes me queasy. #－.－) Certainly, for complexity and intrigue this is leagues above Dangerous Convenience Store, which I found to be quite typical and boring. Never understood its popularity.
